I played poker without incident for several hours. I awaited correspondence from Resort World Catskill and when I did not receive anything I returned on 11/19/22. I was informed via telephone by Stan Springstead Security shift Manager that the individual in incident had been barred for life from resort for life and I could charged with trespassing If I returned to Resort World casino. I said no because I was not going testify due to distance from my home and my health.
About 20 minutes into my drive back to NYC, I received a call from State Police on my cellphone inquiring If I wanted to press charges. I was escorted to garage and security requested a picture of my players card and I obliged them. I was escorted to cage and then my car and proceeded to leave casino property. Security personnel inquired if I wanted to press charges but I was anxious and I just wanted to change my chips that were in my pocket and leave casino. I alerted security, who reviewed casino video footage verifying the individual did indeed have a knife and brandished it towards me. The individual became very aggressive and pulled a knife on me near the bar with the big screen on the Casino floor. I had a disagreement with an individual over a slot machine. This incident occured 10/29/22 at 3:00 Pm on Resort World Catskill main casino area.
